Lucy and Virginia combine their love of true-to-life, story-telling lyrics of adventure and heartbreak to draw audiences in and take them on a dream-time journey.
They are known extensively throughout the Greater Manchester folk music scene, and have also played in Barcelona, North Wales, London, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Carlisle and at several UK festivals, including a number of appearances at Festival Number 6.
Very much complemented by their full band comprising the ridiculously talented Dan Bridgwood-Hill on fiddle whose other musical ventures include Suttree and NASDAQ...
Mark Greer (lap-slide guitar), known well from The Lonesome and Penniless Cowboys;
Phil Robinson (guitarrón bass), a veteran of the folk scene in Manchester and Edward Wastnidge (drums/cajón), whose percussive talents feature in The Awful Truth and other strong Manchester bands.
