Raw powerful cinematic electronica with punk attitude. Stunning lead hurdy-gurdy with effect pedals, fierce yet tender vocals, personal political lyrics, floaty flutes, massive drone bass and DIY samples seamlessly combine with industrial-rave beats in an utterly captivating show.

Based in London, nomadic duo tAngerinecAt was formed in 2008 in Ukraine as a collaboration between Ukrainian born Eugene Purpurovsky and English born Paul Chilton.

Eugene's lyrics are based on personal experience as someone recovering from severe childhood abuse, neglect and poverty, and the associated mental health issues. They also tell a story of resistance against gender, class and ethnic oppression, rape culture and other authoritarian structures. These themes are repeated throughout their album Many Kettles, and also in the form of images and symbols that help you to survive.

They have four independently released, successfully selling albums that have had airplay on BBC 2, BBC 3 and BBC 6. tAngerinecAt are one of the most exciting live acts one will ever witness…

YORKSHIRE VS ESSEX »
Simon Yorkshire (singer), Chris Essex (bassist/effects monger) and Iain Hounslow (flautist/guitarist/synthist) are a London-based trio whose songs present international narratives hinged on real people's lives... from Japanese castratresses to Sheffield murderers to Denis Thatcher... with cheeky slices of embellishment.

YVE are Influenced by the likes of Robert Wyatt, Current 93, Scott Walker, Miles Davis, Bjork, Nick Cave, The Residents, Death Grips and Iannis Xenakis - without sounding much like any of them...

Ahead of the release of their debut album, ‘Dismembered Tales’ YVE will take you to places far more threatening than the Tufnell-Park basement in which they will be performing…

NX PANTHER »
Rapper, songwriter and producer with original music fusing hip hop, grime and dance with world samples and lyrics that are sharp, intricate and emotive and rather bizarrely all serve to create an almost operatic and orchestral sound.

Their recently released EP Black Forest Ghetto tells haunting tales of our generation of cinema, consumerism and technology.

If Basquiat and Bagheera had a love child its cries would be the songs of NX Panther. A rare full-band set beckons, as NX Panther showcases some of London’s most powerful songs…

Lukey Foxtrot »
Unhinged and live techno from Cornish bumpkin via South East London, Lukey Foxtrot’s ‘Farewell Heights’ EP marries Aphex Twin-style beats with something altogether nastier and disturbing with a live show that is a both a joy and a horror to behold... He will be opening the Intox Extravaganza so any latecomers will have to live the rest of their lives in that knowledge!
