Tim Loud »
A wonderful songwriter who embraces folk, country and punk simultaneously and delivers it all with cheeky, comedy banter.
His last album ‘What am I?’ hailed as ‘a 2016 contender for album of the year’ by Get Tanked Zine, Tim Loud’s 12 string driven, harmonica blowing, high energy country blues anti folk is delivered with 100% punk attitude, politically charged, socially aware, witty lyrics, great stage presence, and hilarious between song banter.
“A treat for the ears and definitely someone to keep your eye on” – Big Cheese Magazine
Charlie Tophill »
Another welcome return for the wonderful Charlie Tophill who has recorded an EP and toured the UK in Curtis Eller’s American Circus since her last visit.
Charlie Tophill grew up in the penny arcades of a stony-beached seaside town in Kent. It was in this salty backwater that she first began singing for her shrapnel and playing guitar for her pennies.
After following the bright lights to North Yorkshire, she performed and toured with several bands - The Smoking Years, The Sam Griffiths Band and Curtis Eller's American Circus - before returning to her solo roots.
Now Charlie performs her quirky brand of indie-pop with charm and humour, strumming out cheerful pessimism on an acoustic guitar.
Her songs vacillate between light-hearted observation and intense feeling; catchy melodies and lyrically erudite songs delivered with honesty and warmth.
Thom Worth »
We are all very excited for Thom’s Sundown Sessions debut. With his instantly familiar, timeless, classic pop stylings, he is bound to be a hit!
Early formative encounters amateur local musical for the ten-year-old south-west Londoner Thom Worth. child acting then training as an actor then autodidactic musician – teaching himself guitar, drums, bass and piano along the way - age 16 writing music and consuming it voraciously then immersing himself in Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Smiths, The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, The Chili Peppers, Manic Street Preachers, Radiohead, Leonard Cohen, Elbow, Thom has now played at the IOW, Green Man and Victorious festivals. and released his first EP to a sold-out show at The Half Moon in Putney. Now poised for acclaim, his latest single ‘Oh! Lucinda’ is a pop masterstroke, and the sound of an artist reaching the height of his craft with it’s floaty slacker riffs and sugar sweet melodies ‘Oh! Lucinda’ is three minutes of finely crafted pop perfection recorded live with members of London-based band The Lodgers, it was produced by Thom and Dan Joseph Clarke.
It’s an incredibly accomplished single from the young melody maker with the sort of effortless zest for songwriting that recalls heroes like Paul McCartney and Morrissey.
Boss Caine »
Quite possibly the hardest working man in UK Roots & Americana being a musician, songwriter, promoter and genuine Renaissance man.
Daniel Lucas hails from York and is pretty much the go-to-man 'Oop T'North' for Roots music in Yorkshire. It would be easier to say who this guy hasn't played with but the list includes such God-like luminaries as Tony Joe White, Hayes Carll, Shooter Jennings, Alabama 3 and literally hundreds more.
A gravel-voiced singer-songwriter and picaresque storyteller of real life labours with even taller tales. Imagine Alabama 3 with 2 OD'ed and then there was 1 on the mother of all comedowns!
