Folklore Presents »
Bringing the best in Alternative, Folk, Americana and Roots music to the people of London.

Bird & Family Bryan »
Alternative pop group based in Liverpool and London, comprised of singers Mickey and Pip, guitarist Hedi, and lyricist Bevil.

Formed in 2016, they've built a unique sound with exciting synth lines twisting over close vocal harmonies and melodic guitarwork.Their first demo, 'Prologue to a Ghost Story' was released on January 7th 2017, and tells a tale of patience and catastrophe in a ghostly, haunting song.

The Awful Truth »
The Awful Truth live in Manchester and tell tall stories.

Their debut album 'Songs of Love and Lust' was released in summer 2015, together with the single “In Too Deep”.

The album explores themes around sexual politics and the philosophy of love. Each song tells a story.

God is in the TV “A kind of modern day slightly more brainy Bob Dylan”.

Lucy & Virginia »
Manchester based folk duo, comprising, Lucy Ridges and Virginia Harvey as lead guitarists, mandolinists and vocalists.

Their folk-influenced, original song writing and powerful vocal harmonies take influence from a mix of old-style country, traditional folk and bluegrass, such as The Cox Family, Cahalen Morrison & Eli West and Gillian Welsh.

Lucy and Virginia combine their love of true-to-life, story-telling lyrics of adventure and heartbreak to draw audiences in and take them on a dream-time journey.

They are known extensively throughout the Greater Manchester folk music scene, and have also played in Barcelona, North Wales, London, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Carlisle and at several UK festivals, including a number of appearances at Festival Number 6.

Very much complemented by their full band comprising the ridiculously talented Dan Bridgwood-Hill on fiddle whose other musical ventures include Suttree and NASDAQ...

Mark Greer (lap-slide guitar), known well from The Lonesome and Penniless Cowboys;

Phil Robinson (guitarrón bass), a veteran of the folk scene in Manchester and Edward Wastnidge (drums/cajón), whose percussive talents feature in The Awful Truth and other strong Manchester bands.
