Joz Norris & Johnny White Really Really: Masterworks-in-Progress
Doors: 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Two work-in-progress comedy shows from two alt comedy legends.
JOZ NORRIS: YOU WAIT. TIME PASSES. Comedians’ Choice Award winner (Best Show 2019), Joz Norris has finally completed his life’s work, and he’s ready to unveil it to the world. But what exactly is it? And now that he’s done it, what will he do next? A new show about ambition, closure and moving on from the creator and star of BBC Radio 4’s The Dream Factory and A Small Talk On Small Talk. Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality and Chortle Award for Best Variety Act nominee. ‘Really captures the spirit of creative Fringe comedy’ (Guardian).
JOHNNY WHITE REALLY REALLY: AM/PM. Writing blurbs isn’t easy. In fact, it’s something I struggle with. To the extent that often years later, after the show is all but completely forgotten, I’ll still experience flashes of reproach over what I put. It’s never harmed the show, mind you. And it’s only a blurb. But it’s only the sky, it’s only the endless black ocean etc. You know what I’m getting at, right? I’m sure I don’t need to spell it out.
